NAGeneral Purpose We are excited to announce an opportunity to join our team as a Personal Trainer! As a Personal Trainer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing fitness programs that are goal-driven, safe, effective, and enjoyable.
You will provide in-depth instruction on proper form and technique, fitness guidelines/recommendations, physiology and anatomy, exercise modifications, client motivation, and the monitoring and communication of client progress.
Additionally, you will be responsible for supervising clients, creating a supportive exercise environment, and continued development of skills and knowledge.
Under the supervision of the Recreation Coordinator, Recreation Assistant, or the Recreation Supervisor, you will work successfully in a team-oriented atmosphere, including being available to substitute and be an advocate for all Parks and Recreation programs and services.
We are looking for someone who is passionate about helping others achieve their fitness goals and who is willing to work hard as part of a team.
Hiring salary is dependent upon experience.
The hiring range for Personal Trainer I is $24.
29 - $27.
03 per hour.
The hiring range for Personal Trainer II is $27.
24 - $30.
14 per hourThe hiring range for Personal Trainer III is $30.
19 - $33.
21 per hour.

Employees are eligible for a membership to the Commerce City Recreation Center for $5.
00 per year.
Golf Course Green Fees:
Employees can play the City's award-winning Buffalo Run Golf Course at a rate of $9.
00 for 9-holes or $18.

Employees can also purchase golf merchandise at discounted prices.
Benefits:
The city monitors the hours worked for seasonal and variable hour employees.
In the event that they work more than 1,560 hours within the ACA measurement period, they will be offered health benefits.
Wellness:
Employees are eligible to earn up to $100 for participation in various wellness activities offered by the City throughout the year.
Eligibility for Pay Increases:
Employees are eligible for a pay increase around the time of their annual appraisal following a successful evaluation.
